5. Straight (Easy) Lacing
This is a subset of the line (Bar) Twisted one end which runs directly from the bottom up, while the other side steps through the eyelets.
Lacing Technique:
1. The lace runs directly on the bottom (gray section) and ends are inserted into both bottom eyelets.
2. One end of the lace (blue end) is fed directly into above the left side to get to, and emerges from the upper left-hand ring.
3. The other end (yellow end) runs up the right side, emerges and runs straight in the second set of eyelets.
4. The same end (yellow end) works its way up and back and forth through the remaining eyelets.

Even the number of pairs of eyelet look tidy =
Odd number of eyelet pairs = dirty

6. Walking cord / Cord Cycling
An inside-out version of Straight (Bar) Lacing, which distributes pressure evenly also keeps the knots and the ends to one side. For hiking / walks, the position of the nodes in the interior, away from the weeds eg. Bicycle or bicycle, the position of them abroad, away from the chains and cranks.
Lacing Technique:
1. The lace is run straight across the bottom (gray section) and emerges through two slots lower.
2. One end of the lace (yellow end) runs up the right side, is fed into and runs straight across the second set of eyelets.
3. Both ends now run straight up the left side, each skipping an arc before feeding in two eyelets higher up.
4. Continue running both ends through the shoe, then up two eyelets at a time.
5. At the top of the shoe, the laces end up on the same side and the knot is tied at the laces point.

7. Sawtooth Lacing
This method has all the underlying sections pulling in an inclined angle, which changes the alignment of the sides and may correct an otherwise shoe-fitting.
Lacing Technique:
1. The lace is run straight across the bottom (gray section) and the ends are fed through the eyelets the bottom.
2. The right (yellow) end is run up the inside and emerges through the hitch next to the shoes, then goes online line on the outside and are fed through the opposite buttonhole on the left side.
3. The left (blue) end diagonal crosses inside, jumping past an eyelet to emerge coupling through the gap next to the right side. Then follow it straight into the outside and are fed through the grommet on the left side opposite.
4. Repeat step (3) with each end in turn, every time it runs diagonally across straight sections inside and out, until one end (yellow), top right eyelet.
5. The other end (blue) is then run up the inside to emerge through the top left eyelet.
